The Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom on Monday dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, stating that he was rather sent packing from the party and is now exploring a new political platform to actualise his future ambition.
He spoke at the Benue Peoples House, Makurdi while swearing in his Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Jerome Torshimbe.
The Governor said, “I’ve been given ‘red card’ and may soon join new ‘club”…
”I Am No Longer In APC”
“I don’t know what will happen next but I’m waiting. If others approach me, then I will tell the Benue people that I’m joining another football club,” he said.
