Breaking: Former PDP governor ‘retires’ from Politics

The former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel who also served as the Campaign Director General of Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party Presidential candidate in the February 23 election, has quit partisan politics.

Daniel made this known in a letter dated 14th March 2019, which was addressed to the party’s National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus, said that he is leaving the party to pursue “some other vocations.

Daniel served as governor of Ogun State for 8years. He lost in his bid to become the national chairman of PDP in 2018.
