Minister of women affairs, Mrs Aisha Al Hassan has resigned her position and also withdrawn her membership from the ruling party.
Earlier, the All Progressives Congress(APC) had screened the Minister out of its governorship primary for Taraba state.
According to the Minister she wasn’t given a reason as to why she was disqualified by the National Working Committee.
Mrs AlHassan says she feels unfairly treated, hence her decision to resign from the cabinet of president Muhammadu Buhari and also leave the APC.
The letter read:
“Today, the 29th of September 2018, I wish to transmit to the President my decision to resign as the Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and withdraw my membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC).”

Comment:why was the problem
On God knows what she saw to have taken this decision.
I hope she has not also resigned from party membership because other parties are waiting for her.
It’s her choice.
Let her try another political party.
