Chelsea Sends Liverpool To The Summit Of The League Table

Chelsea beat defending champions, Manchester City, by putting two unreplied goals past them in what became their first domestic league defeat of the current campaign during their domestic league clash at Stamford bridge yesterday.

The Blues have  preserved their unbeaten record against the Ethiad side with the victory as the reigning Premier league champions haven’t beaten ChelseaFC at Stamford Bridge since 2002 – the Blues have won 5 and drawn 6 of 11 matches since then.

The victory yesterday condemned the Citizens to second spot on the league table while Liverpool who thrashed Bournemouth four nil stay at the top of the league table with one point ahead of Manchester city
