Super Eagles of Nigeria defender, Leon Balogun, scored a wonderful goal for his club, Brighton, during their domestic league tie against Crystal palace after just 25 minutes of coming on in the first half.
The goal which was his first Premier league one since he joined the English side from German BundesLiga outfit, Mainz was a special one because his side were already down to 10 men before he came on.
The goal also became a record in the EPL as it is now the second fastest goal scored by a substitute.
The Nigerian International has taken to his twitter handle at the end of the match to react to the wonderful feat.
What he said:
OUTSTANDING team performance last night! Not easy being down to 10 men, but ur fantastic support from the stands made us compensate that! It’s that unity you could feel at the Amex last night that makes this club @OfficialBHAFC so special! #DerbyWinners #Best1stTouchOfMyCareer pic.twitter.com/FsBKSHT0k2
