Lagos 2019: Ambode meets Buhari behind closed doors

Embattled governor of Lagos, Akinwumi Ambode is currently in Abuja to meet President Muhammadu Buhari.

The president is meeting the Lagos State Governor at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Ambode is not in an enviable situation right now as he may have lost the support of his political father.  There have also been reports that APC stakeholders in the state are backing another governorship candidate against Ambode.

Ambode definitely needs all the supports he can get before the September 29th APC governorship primary election .

The meeting started around 2.40 p.m and details will be brought to you shortly .
