Former Barcelona coach, Luis Enrique, took over from lopetuigui recently as the coach of the Spanish Team and he already seems to have gotten into top gear with his first official match. The Spanish team were a joy to watch today as they took on England and kept possessions tidy in a Barcelona style.
The Spaniard was although without some first team players like Diego Costa, Gerard Pique and David Silva but that didn’t stop him from inflicting defeat on England at the Wembley stadium.
The English side had prior to the match not lost a match at the Wembley’s and the record seems to be going into preservation when Luke Shaw delivered a stunning assist to Rashford to poke home.
The Spanish side however rallied back into the game and upturned the result just before the half time break and ended the game 2-1 just before the break. They were able to hold on to their lead and finish the game in the second half with the same scoreline.
