The Ekiti chapter of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has reacted to Governor Ayo Fayose’s letter to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).

Fayose had in a recent letter written to the EFCC, informed the agency of his willingness to avail himself for questioning, a day after he leaves office as governor .

In a statement signed by Taiwo Olatunbosun, the APC Ekiti spokesman said Fayose’s letter sounded too good to be true and is highly suspicious.

The ruling party described the letter as a diversionary tool, and that Fayose might use it as a ploy to abscond from the country, once he finishes he tenure.

The APC also asked the anti-corruption agency to be on the lookout for Fayose, adding that he must pay for his ‘reckless corrupt practices’.
